Seascape & Lustre Gulls - Decorative ceramic plate

This delicate, decorative plate forms part of my most recent series within my signature collection 'Seascapes with Lustre Gulls' This earthenware ceramic plate is a slip cast piece formed in a mould with details of the patterns of the sea, hand carved / incised into the surface of the clay. It is completed with a range of glaze and under-glazing and includes a third firing in the kiln with a Mother of Pearl lustre which creates the shimmering and glistening; reminiscent of those glorious summer days. The silvery gulls (platinum lustre) complete the scene, making this a stunning piece to display in your home.
